Welcome to the Hillhead & Dales Light Railway

This is the on-line home of the Hillhead & Dales Light Railway. You'll find short term updates and recent developments at the H&DLR Blog. The H&DLR is a G Scale garden railway; construction has been underway since August 2006. Trains from the H&DLR also operate as visitors on other lines. An earlier version of the H&DLR existed from 1993 until a house move in 2006. On this site, you will find some pictures which I hope will inspire you to build your own garden railway.
